Referring to the carer's service
To refer to the Carers Service, you will need to open the Contact (Carer) from the Start menu in the carer’s record.
From the contact, select a next action of Carer Triage and assign to the Adult Carers Service inbox.
Please note that when a carer is identified, you will need to record an additional personal relationship of Cared For: Carer in the cared for's record.
The roles of 'Main/Principal Carer' and 'Informal (Not Main) Carer' are only for use by Children's Services. If you notice these roles in any Adult Care records, please untick them and, where appropriate, add the Cared For: Carer or Carer: Cared For personal relationship.
