Scope of the toolkit
The strategies in the toolkit apply to the stage of the development, not the age of the child or young person.
Each needs section ends with links to training resources, teaching and assessment tools, and resources for parents and carers.
When completing the home confidence element of the VSEND tool, SENDCos may wish to discuss with parents and carers their confidence in utilising identified resources from this section and how that will support school or setting based interventions.
