Sub-contracting checks
Before you sub-contract you must carry out the following checks.
- ensure the sub-contracting operator is an approved LCC operator
- they hold the relevant licences and insurances and these are in date
- they have sufficient LCC badged drivers and or PAs to fulfil the contract
- all staff assigned to the contract have the appropriate training
If an operator is found to be sub-contracting to an operator where the above checks have not been carried out or is non compliant, this could result in a performance review, the original operator having to fulfil the contract or the contract being terminated.
