When to complete an incident report
An incident report should be completed as soon as possible after any situation that:
- involves a safeguarding concern
- results in injury (however minor)
- involves challenging behaviour or disruption to journey
- damage to vehicles or property
- bullying
- significant delays to transport
- involves a complaint from parent, carer, guardian or school
- a near miss or safety concern
If you're unsure whether something is classed as an incident - report it. It's always better to notify us.
