Transport Transformation Programme

The Council organises transport for school-aged children, college attendees, and adults across various activities. It provides support to enhance the county's bus network, including accessible, demand responsive transport (CallConnect).

It spends a significant budget each year to deliver quality services and meet the needs of passengers. Transport services have been provided against steadily increasing demands and costs over several years.

Our ambition is to transform how we organise and deliver transport services to ensure the future sustainability of all aspects of transport. All passengers' welfare, safety, and safeguarding remain of paramount importance throughout our work.

To achieve this, we are setting up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), which will allow suppliers to join and bid for work for all ranges of travel. We need all vehicle sizes, including cars, MPV's, minibuses, all types of wheelchair accessible vehicles, larger buses and coaches.

The DPS will be replacing the current approved supplier list, so existing suppliers must register online and complete the DPS registration process from March 2022.

Suppliers' awareness events will be arranged where you can find out more about DPS and how to register. We will provide more information on this later with the locations and timing of these events.

If you are unable to attend but are still interested in contract work for Lincolnshire County Council, you should register your interest by following the supplier registration process.
