Passengers and non-travel
Operators are reminded that any passenger that does not travel for more than 48 consecutive hours must be reported to the transport team, regardless of whether school, parents or carers have advised you the reason for the absence.
Whilst you may be aware why a passenger isn’t travelling, it is your responsibility to notify Lincolnshire County Council. If we later become aware that a passenger has not been travelling for an extended period, we will recover any overpaid monies from operators from the date the passenger(s) stopped using transport.
This can easily be avoided by ensuring all passengers that have not travelled for more than 48 consecutive hours is reported promptly.
