As we learn to live safely with COVID-19, there are actions we can all take to help reduce the risk of catching COVID-19 and passing it on to others.
Face masks are however no longer required on transport. Pupils should continually socially distance where possible, and schools and colleges should continue to have queuing arrangements in place for picking up and dropping off children wherever possible.
If a child or young person has a positive COVID-19 test result they should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days after the day they took the test, if they can and follow the guidance set out by the government. If a child becomes unwell during a school day (including testing positive for COVID-19 in any test, such as a lateral flow test, conducted at school or college), parents and carers must arrange their collection from school or college.
