Seasonal preparedness
We encourage you to sign up to the Weather and Health Alerting system using the Weather-Health Alerting system registration form (office.com). Once signed up, you will receive email alerts to warn you of periods of hot/ cold weather that could impact the health of your residents or staff.
Heat Health Alerts
When a heat-health alert is issued, you should follow the Heat-Health Alert summary action card for care homes (UKHSA) and refer to your own plans or risk assessments.
